Regular Embossed Polypropylene
Product codes for regular embossed polypropylene strapping are designated
as follows:
1st
and 2nd digits: Strap width expressed in millimeter
or eight of an inch.
3rd digit: "M" for machine-grade; "H" for hand-grade.
4th and 5th digits: Average break strengths (x10).
6th digit: Core size as listed in Chart A.
7th digit: Color as listed in Chart B.
8th and 9th digits: Coil length (x100)
10th digit: If necessary an "S" will be used to designate smooth
strap. All strap without this designation is embossed.
As an example, product code 48M.35.0290 reads as follows:
